Free Lunch followed Rex's middle school experience living below the poverty line.

Punching Bag charted his life as he adjusted to high school while grappling with domestic violence at home.

Now, Road Home is a tour de force account of a teenage Rex in the summer after graduating high school: being outed as gay, forced to leave his father's home, and living homeless on the streets of New Orleans.
